How to withdraw your cashback
Cashback is credited to your Gains balance instantly, as soon as the payment for your chosen gift card is confirmed. This is usually within 60 seconds. Cashback can be withdrawn to your bank once your Gains balance reaches £10. There is no maximum withdrawal cap and withdrawals are free of charge.

We do have a premium subscription for extra budgeting tools, more AI usage, and more bank account connections – but these are extras, and not required to use the app. We also earn a small amount on gift card purchases.
How quickly do I receive my cashback?
Cashback is credited to your Gains balance instantly, as soon as the payment for your chosen gift card is confirmed. This is usually within 60 seconds.
How can I withdraw my cashback?
Your cashback can be withdrawn free of charge directly to your chosen bank account as soon as you have reached £10 in earned cashback. You can also use your cashback balance to pay for additional gift cards and make your money go further.
Why do I have to connect a bank account?
With a secure (read-only) bank account connection, Gains analyses your spending and finds you personalised cashback offers to save you the maximum amount per month based on where you’re already spending money. We also find all your recurring subscriptions you might have forgotten to cancel, and other useful features – but we need read-only access via open banking to help you with this.

What is Open Banking?
Through TrueLayer (our FCA-regulated provider), Gains can safely view your spending history to give you personalised money-saving insights, but we can never move or access your money. Open Banking is like Netflix seeing your watch history to recommend shows. They can see what you’ve watched to make suggestions, but they can’t control your TV. This read-only access lets us analyse your habits and suggest real savings opportunities, like spotting subscriptions you might have forgotten about or finding better deals on your regular purchases. If you’re ever uncomfortable with this, you can revoke Open Banking access at any time.
What devices and regions are supported?
We’re launching on both iOS and Android, and will initially support customers with a UK bank account and UK‑issued debit cards. Support for additional regions may be added in future releases. Join the waitlist to be notified when your device and region are supported.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount for gift‑card purchases or withdrawals?
Gift cards can generally be purchased in amounts from as little as £5 (depending on retailer) up to a higher limit set by the merchant. Cashback is credited instantly and can be withdrawn to your bank once your Gains balance reaches £10. There is no maximum withdrawal cap, and withdrawals are free of charge.
